Initiated as part of the Phénix projects in Charleroi, the cinema complex Quai 10 (Pier 10) brings the redevelopment works of the quays of the river Sambre to an end, with the same design team.
The Quai 10 project is located on the Quai de Brabant in the former National Bank of Belgium, which has been extensively renovated to include a brewery, a gaming area, offices and business hosts.
On the other side of the complex, Quai 10 also stretches to Rue Léopold, where a new building with four cinemas is set up, gradually shifting with the floors. The reinforced concrete façades constitute the primary structure and, thanks to their arc-shape, allow the creation of large glazed foyers in the upper levels and the creation of a new inner street connecting the quays to the city center.
