The “Palais des Expositions” de Charleroi becomes the “Grand Palais”

The renovation of the Charleroi Exhibition Centre, which has been underway since 2018, is due for completion in the autumn. The Municipality has already launched a tender to find a new operator for the premises, which will no longer be known as the “Palais des Expositions” of Charleroi, but as the “Grand Palais”!

The work has enabled the building, which was built in the 1950s, to be given a facelift, while preserving its historic features, such as the 2 fireplaces and the famous “Bisou M’chou” sign on the facade, which can be seen from the ring.

The project has mobilised a large number of the bureau greisch’s stability and building engineering services teams.
