Zlota 44 tower in Warsaw
This 54-storey (192 m) tower is designed to house 251 luxury flats in the city centre, as well as community facilities such as a 25 m long swimming pool, saunas, etc. It represents an eagle soaring into the sky.
Construction is currently suspended for budgetary reasons but could be restarted soon.
In Polish, Zlota means silver, hence the tower’s silver cladding. The facade has a surface area of 27,500 m². It is made up of 60% aluminium cassettes and 40% glazing. The frames supporting the glazing and cassettes are made of aluminium. Two facade systems were used, a frame system and a curtain wall system. The curtain wall system was used mainly on the ground floor and terrace. The frame system was used on the rest of the tower to install the aluminium cassettes and glazing.
