Victor Bodson bridge upon the Alzette

Cable-stayed bridge with a central deck and a single pylon, with two 130m spans.

The deck is curved, making it one of the first curved cable-stayed bridges in the world.
The pylon, which has a square cross-section, is pre-stressed to resist the transverse bending caused by the curve of the deck which has four traffic lanes. The latter is mixed, consisting of two steel caissons connected by lattice girders and topped by a reinforced concrete slab.

The steel deck was pushed into place and the slab cast in place on a mobile equipment.
