Royal theatre in Namur

Renovation of a theatre of Italian style :

– restauration of the main fl oor, the foyer and the dome,
– erection of a new scene,
– creation of a repetition room and a polyvalent room under the main fl oor.

An important rempiettement under water was needed to create the two new volumes under the existing building.

The dome is hanged up to the new roof by mean of a anti-vibration suspension to improve the acoustic behaviour.
