Mixed-use building in Kopstal
The project involves the construction of a building to house the new offices of architects Bourguignon Siebenaler.
This 520m² positive energy building spread over 3 floors will include office spaces and one apartment.
The structure, particularly regular and rational, is made up of glued laminated beams and columns with a span of 4.5 m, while the floors and walls are made of CLT of 2.5 m.
The entire wooden structure is visible, the details are therefore studied to make the assemblies invisible.
The vertical circulation core is made of concrete, and in particular plays the role of building bracing.
The techniques are integrated into the thickness of the floors.
