Metro bridge in Toulouse

Crossing of the motorway ring by the A line of the light subway.

This 251-meter-long viaduct has 8 spans. The 81-meter-long main one is supported by two triple arches.

The arches are extended below the deck to rest on concrete inclined piles. The transversal steel rods supported by the concrete piles are used to transfer the horizontal stresses to the deck.

The deck is composed of a concrete plate and two steel trapezial box-girders.
