Liege Airport – Implementation of economic activity zones to the north airport – Flexport 2

The deployment of economic activity zones to the north of Liège Airport consists of the site preparation of 120 ha of industrial platforms (known as «second line»), to be carried out in 4 successive phases.

The ongoing third phase, «Flexport 2», concerns the site preparation of approximately 24 ha.

The project consists of:

• major earthworks (approximately 250 000 m3),
• the demolition of military infrastructure,
• the laying of a sewage system,
• the construction of a merlon and a noise barrier,
• the installation of new utility lines (water supply, energy, telephone and other networks.
