King Baudouin stadium
Re-building of the stadium located on the Heysel plateau. Four terraces for a total of 50 000 covered seats over two levels. The first stage was the renovation of three terraces. The second stage was the addition of a level over the three stands.
Locker rooms, reception premises and offices are located beneath the terraces. Moreover, the stadium contains two sports rooms (15 x 14 m).
- foundations on piles, nearly-entirely-prefabricated concrete frame and metallic roof,
- the front wall of the old stadium is preserved. The endings of a 40-meter-overhung veil rest on gudgeons and allow the stabilization of the structure,
- roof beams are made up of box girders overhung for 45 m.
