Grosses Battes tunnel and interchange in Liege

The motorway tunnel with two lanes operates the junction with the motorway E25 at the south ending of the link.

376 m long, it integrates two refuge shoulders, a basin to collect water, a pumping station and technical rooms.

The interchange with a double roundabout upon the surface constitutes the southgate of the city of Liège and desserves an important commercial complex and the railway station of Angleur.

A rigorous phasing permitted to maintain the access permanently, with preservation of the rapid transit which is very dense (± 60 000 cars a day).
