Eau Rouge viaduct
This 652 m motorway viaduct crosses an environmentally sensitive valley.
The Eau Rouge at Stavelot is a stream with a very low pH. The acidity of the ground and subsoil has led to the design of a main span of 270 m supported by two independent steel arches with a rectangular box structure.
The composite deck was partially launched and partially erected by crane. It is composed of a concrete deck without cross girders and two rectangular steel boxes
