E25 – Development of an access to the Bressoux multimodal zone
The project aims to upgrade the section of motorway (A25) between the Monsin dam bridge and the Atlas bridge into a peri-urban boulevard providing access to the Bressoux multimodal zone. The project is being carried out in collaboration with the landscape architect Du Paysage.
The A25 and Avenue Georges Truffaut formworks are demolished in order to create new roads, a pavement alongside the buildings and a cycle route along the Meuse.
A road is created between the Métro and Kärcher companies to access the Bressoux multimodal zone. This new road and the Avenue de Jupille are connected to the new developments by means of traffic light crossroads. An underpass, necessary to respect mobility constraints, completes the Avenue de Jupille intersection.
The roadways are covered with hydrocarbon. The pavement alongside the buildings is covered with concrete paving stones. The cycle route is made of cast-in-place concrete.
Lines of trees of different species, planted in areas free of impediments, punctuate and structure the development. The areas between the traffic areas are planted with ground cover or grass.
