Breucq footbridge naar Pierre-Mauroy arena in Lille
Metal footbridge, 10 m wide and 90 m long, with a 51-meter main span, crossing the “boulevard du Breucq” (2 x 4 lanes) and the access route to the new arena (3 lanes).
This footbridge gives access to the events at the grand arena for pedestrians and cyclists. It offers also an optimal link from the parkings of the science district and the metro stations to the grand arena and the city hall district. It can be used by the maintenance and the emergency services.
It is composed of a steel structure and a steel deck.
Project owner team: consortium Iosis Nord – Sum project – bureau greisch – Antea ingénierie – Citelum – Novapark (also in charge of the design of parking lots adjacent to the large stadium)
Mission
Mission: architecture and engineering of the footbridge. Complete mission of assistance to the project owner: sketch, prelimi-nary design, design, execution follow up, control and acceptance of works
