The last steel segment of the third Bosporus bridge (TR) has been installed.
Less than a year after the arrival of the first segment on site, 1360 m of steel bridge deck of the main span are set up and the Bosphorus crossing is now possible along the deck.
Keying operations, using prestressed bars, of the last joint is ongoing.
Bureau Greisch achieved the global studies, the static and dynamic (wind, earthquake…) studies of the structure in service and under construction and also the detailed design of the metal main span.
