The Shot tower (Tour de Plombs) building in Brussels was built in 1832 and was decommissioned in 1961. It is currently being restored to be transformed into a school and a theater.
The mission of bureau Greisch consists, among other things, in lowering the interior level by ± 60 cm; for this reason, it is necessary to consolidate the foot of all the facades.
In addition, to allow the removal of the existing cast iron columns which encumbered the space and the strengthening of the existing floors, lattice girders were installed which directly take up the wooden beams of the ceiling of the future theater.
