The temporary association Atelier d’Architecture DDV/bureau greisch won the competition in Design&Build, on behalf of the temporary company Duchêne and Valens, in order to design the new building of the UCLouvain FUCaM Mons campus.
On site construction will start in the spring of 2021 and should be completed by the beginning of 2022.
This new building will house about 100 new residential units, an auditorium, research laboratories, computer rooms, a study room and a fitness room. Visible from the entrance to the campus and the Chaussée de Binche, it gives an adequate response to the development of the campus and the increasing student population.
