The Pont des Trous was inaugurated this Friday in Tournai. The 2.7-kilometre bridge is part of the project to upgrade the Scheldt to ECMT Va gauge (accessible to 2,000-tonne vessels).
For this project, the bureau greisch carried out a complete design and engineering mission for the bridge and its surroundings. The developments include the creation of stepped banks and balconies over the water.
