“Roots” – Mixed-use buildings in Belval
The bureau greisch has been appointed, along with ArtBuild Architects, for the design of the mixed retail, office and residential project in Belval (Grand Duchy of Luxembourg). It is in charge of a joint mission of stability, civil engineering, building engineering services, energy performance certificate (CPE) and dynamic thermal simulation (DTS).
The project has a total surface area of 34,800m² and consists of a common basement of 9,200m² with 253 parking spaces and a mixed commercial/office base in traditional reinforced concrete construction. On this base there are 3 buildings with a wooden structure, including CLT floors. One will be used as office space, and the other two will house 102 flats.
The «Roots» project, which will be carried out in a circular economy approach, will receive the Breeam Excellent, Well Gold and LCBI (Low Carbon Building Initiative) – Lenotz.
