Bridge of La Rochette at Chaudfontaine

Access bridge to the sewage farm of la Brouck :oblique bowstring bridge made up of steel arches, flanges and transversal girders and of a reinforced concrete deck.

The span is 40 m long and 8.65 m wide. The arch is 6.5 m high. The suspension cables are vertical and set every 4 m.

To locally improve the hydraulic conditions of the Vesdre river, the lower level of the bridge has been elevated 200 mm above the old bridge level and the riverbanks have been landscaped in the continuity of the existing banks.
