Lino Rosa graduated as civil engineer architect from the Faculté Polytechnique de Mons (2001).

After his studies, he joined the Bgroup Greisch office in Brussels. He worked for a few years in the field of building structures before orienting his work towards civil engineering. From 2004 onwards, he became project manager in the civil engineering and buildings departments, and then manager of the civil engineering department of the Brussels branch of the group from 2008 onwards. Since 2016, he is managing director of Bgroup Greisch and, in 2020, he joined the board of directors of Greisch Coordination et Etudes.

During his career, he has participated in and directed numerous studies in the field of road and public transport infrastructure, from the preliminary design to site supervision. Among the main ones we can mention the development of the Porte du Parc in Mons, the extension of the Charleroi light rail system (Gosselies branch), the transformation of the Brussels Central Station, the project to cover the Louise and Trône tunnels in Brussels or the transformation of several metro stations in the STIB network. He has also participated in and directed numerous developments of public spaces and green areas (Bois du Cazier in Marcinelle, Josaphat Park, boulevards de l’Impératrice and du Centre in Brussels, etc.). He is currently involved in the studies for a new 1.6 km long metro and tramway section near the Gare du Midi and in the project to transform Montgomery station in Brussels.

From 2004 to 2018, he worked as an industrial collaborator at the ULB for the supervision of multidisciplinary projects and practical work in the field of reinforced concrete structures. Since 2017, he has been supervising the structural projects of future civil engineers at UMONS.
