Viaduct of Eau Rouge This motorway viaduct 652 m long crosses a valley particularly vulnerable to environmental impact.
The Eau rouge is a small brook with a very low pH. The sourness of the ground and the underground leaded to opt for a main span of 270 m supported by two independant steel arches made of rectangular
boxes.
The composite deck was partially launched and partially mounted with a crane. It is composed of a concrete deck without fl our beams and two rectangular steel boxes.
