Katholieke Hogeschool Leuven, Gasthuisberg site This new building of 13 000 m² will house 1 500 students of the departments of nursing and obstetrics, and Rega (lab and medical technicians) with a direct link to the university hospital.
De lower levels of the building are organised in steps along the natural slope of the ground level, with meeting places. The auditoria are like boxes laying along the slope. Above this glass plinth are 3 levels in a massif brick volume, with two glassed patios with an orientation to the north.
The structure is mainly composed of concrete elements, mainly prefabricated.
