Liège Airport - extension of the hub of TNT Enlargement of the existing building by a construction with a length of 213 m and a width of 93 m.
This new hub is separated from the old hub by an fire-resistant wall. The structure is entirely metallic. Two intermediate levels are constructed between the floor slab and the roof. The first level is comprised of beams resting directly on the roof columns. The second level is suspended from the main beams of the framework.
6,000 m² of the building are made of concrete to house part of the workshops and the technical rooms.
The building had to be ready for use within twelve months.
