greisch ingénierie greisch ingénierie is established in Liège, in Liège Science Park ( Sart Tilman’s scientific park), near the university of Liège, with which it collaborates closely. The office has forty people (engineers and draughtsmen technicians).
Since its foundation in 1958, greisch ingénierie has acquired an international reputation as consulting engineer in the fields of structures, civil engineering and buildings.
For each one of its achievements, the company implements its technical skills, its deep knowledge of materials and their respective qualities, its sensitive approach to the natural landscape and the built environment, its reasoning as regards program and distribution of spaces as well as its artistic judgement. Because of this, really original works where the quality of design is essential result.
The speech of Rene Greisch mentioned especially this desire of perfection which leads to polish and to unceasingly repolish his work until the final deadline. In the same way, he expressed the wish that nothing misrepresents, in the completed work, the complexity of its development.
"The art is that the effort is not felt, that it seems to flow naturally; and yet..."
greisch ingénierie is likely to take responsibility for a project from its initial design up to the implementation designs, by integrating the stability and technical equipment designs. The research and development department allows it to carry out every special design (dynamic, instability, non-linear designs) using in-depth software developed in collaboration with the university of Liège.
Activities :
- structure designs
- stability designs of building
- designs of metallic, reinforced concrete, pre-stressed concrete, combined steel-concrete, wood structures
- special technical designs of the building (electricity, heating, bathrooms, ventilation...)
- renovation/restoration designs of buildings and monuments
- civil engineering stability designs
- designs of urban developments
- designs of special structures (pylons, towers,...)
- lay-out and purification designs of discharges
- special designs in the non-linear fields of instability and dynamics
- research and development in collaboration with the university of Liège
- development of computational software
