This bridge, with four tracks, 450 m long, has been built with 8 000 tons of steel and 21 000 m³ of concrete.
It will allow, as from 2010, an increase of the railway trafic and the preparation of the arrival in Bordeaux of the High Speed Line South Europa Atlantic. |

 | The Noriant building consortium, for which the engineering office Greisch has realised the preliminary desgin of the bridges on the right bank of the Escaut river, has been officially nominated "Preferred Bidder" on Decembre 21st 2007. The studies for tender plans and documents have to be undertaken shortly in order to start the works by the end of the year 2008.
